What is Bogies & Stogies
Bogies & Stogies is an invite only group of men who share the same core values. First and foremost a love for God and a desire to see His kingdom advance. We are a collective of men who value family and strive every day to be the best husbands, fathers, and leaders in our homes and our communities. Our goal is to host a weekend golf tournament in which we as a group get away, play golf, eat great food, smoke good cigars, watch college football, as well as encourage and re-charge one another. If you are reading this, it's because you have been invited to be a part of the first ever Bogies & Stogies event.
Our Mission
Our Mission is simple. Hebrews 10:24–25
24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
About the Event
The format will be a 3 round tournament. Teams will be blind drawn based on handicap. The first 18 holes we will play on Friday on the way down. Saturday we will be play 18 holes mid morning. Sunday we will finish with the final 18 holes before heading back home.

The Format
The First 18 - Four Ball
In four-ball, each member of a two-man team plays his own ball, so four balls are in play on every hole. Each team counts the lowest of its two scores on each hole, and the team whose player has the lowest score wins the hole. If the low scores are tied, the hole is halved.
The Second 18 - Foursomes
In foursomes, each two-man team plays one ball per hole with the players taking turns until each hole is complete. Players alternate hitting tee shots, with one leading off on odd-numbered holes, and the other hitting first on even-numbered holes. The team with the low score on each hole wins that hole. If their scores are tied, the hole is halved.
The Final 18 - Singles
In singles, each match features one player from each team. The player with the lower score on each hole wins that hole. If their scores are tied, the hole is halved.
